power of prayer, is it possible?
by bite me ini'm all about praying, but not necessary to get what i want or for something to go my way.
lately ,praying hasn't seemed to work.
i go to sleep each night literally crying because it makes me sad to know that they are going to the meetings blindly.

I'm all about praying, but not necessary to get what I want or for something to go my way. I really, really want my friends who are trapped in (JW's) thinking that that is the true way to salvation to get out. Lately ,praying hasn't seemed to work. Or is it one of those things where they are going to be lost and no amount of praying will save them. I go to sleep each night literally crying because it makes me sad to know that they are going to the meetings blindly. They believe they are learning the truth. Four to Five times a week "See ya later, I have to go to my meeting". I know you have to make time for the LORD, but only if it is the right LORD! I always hear of miricals, just once I'd like to have one chance where my prayers are answered. It's not asking for much, just to save those I love from being lost. For once I'd like to see that they know and love the true God. So all of you out there, if it's not asking too much do a little praying for not only my friends but for everyone who is trapped and needs help to see the real truth.

you can set your account to private.. they'll never find out who you are then. just don't put your picture on default picture.. so what if you did have a myspace account.. You should not have to feel that you have to hide. It's a place to be who you truly are. Just another do not do to add to their control list, I think. It's not like you are doing anything wrong. You are just keeping up with friends and family. I know of many JW 's who have an account. Should they be very afraid?

by AndersonsInfo ina producer with nbc in new york called within the past hour to tell me that the segment i interviewed for (once in nashville, tn in august and once in washington, dc in october) is set to air tonight on nbc nightly news with brian williams, that is, if no huge calamity takes place to bump the feature.
this piece will be two minutes and 45 seconds long, the longest slot nightly news has for topics of interest, and will feature a discussion about the court documents that are found on the cd i recently produced, "secrets of pedophilia in an american religion, jehovah's witnesses in crisis.
in addition, nbc's internet site, msn, will follow with a detailed story.

What Congregational "Rules" Did You Have To Follow?
by minimus inone rule our hall had was that families with young children should only sit in the rear of the hall.
if a baby got fussy, the attendant was to go to the mother and ask her to bring the child in the library or "backroom".. also, disfellowshipped persons were to sit in the back of the hall and if they talked to another df'd one in front of the congregation members, they were threatened with not being allowed to get reinstated and having a lack of humility.. did your elders make up certain rules in your hall?.

Threatened? Wow.. some loving people that is..
I would think that if someone wanted to talk to another person who they were not allowed to they could just go to another hall where they were not known.
